St. Ann's Staff and Friends, A sincere thanks from my family and myself to all of you.  For all of your heartfelt words and gestures, the beautiful tree, filling in for me on the schedule in my absence.  Helping me through this difficult time, helping me by being great support and your heartfelt words of sympathy.  I am so happy to work with so many wonderful individuals.  Our sincere thanks, Daphne and family

Dear Saints of St. Ann, How can I ever explain how grateful I am for your support in the last year of my parents lives.  Not only did you all give so generously of your kindness and skills to my Mom and Dad, Paul and Fern, but also to me.  The daily demands you face caring for all of the residents of St. Ann's Home would be overwhelming for most people but day after day with much patience and live you cared for the residents and listened to the many requests and questions of the families.  How beautiful and fortunate to watch and experience the interactions.  Thank you for your good care of my Mom and Dad, may God continue to bless each of you each and every day.  Gratefully, Susan Hirner Dolan

St. Ann's Home, I wanted to thank you again for the way you supported my stepmom and myself and opening St. Ann's Home to my father.  Thank you for understanding our immediate need and finding a solution to our prayers.  My father felt quite at ease in your staff's hands.  The male nurses were incredible!  They helped my Dad feel dignified in control of himself and secure.  Anything at all we needed for him or the family was taken care of immediately.  Dad's final path on earth was smooth and his walk was joyous.  At the end of one of his final days at St. Ann's he said, "I had a great day!"  We all shared with Dad an incredible experience that left our hearts full of peace.  We are forever grateful for your compassion.  Sue, Dick and Katie Coen

Dear Dorothy, I want to express to you how much I have appreciated St. Ann's Home with your leadership and your wonderful staff.  You are not a "stay in your office" Administrator, but you are out among the residents caring about them.  Thank you for making your job not just a job but a calling.  Carol Hawley

Dear Friends at St. Ann's Home, thank you all so much for the kind and loving way you have cared for my mother during her 2 years she was a resident with you.  And especially for your love and care during her final days.  Every time I visited there were smiles and kind words from your staff.  I am glad she could spend her final months in your facility.  God Bless you all, Frank Dewey

Dear St. Ann's Staff and Dorothy Joyce, "Thank you" seems inadequate for the professionalism, compassion and care you provided for our mom.  From the nurses, CNA's (true angels in my book), housekeeping, dietary, social services, finance dept and activities, you provided support to our family as we navigated this chapter and respect, gentleness and diligence to our mother's care.  We know in our hearts that you gave us more than 2 more years with our mother.  She would not have lived 92 years feeling safe, cared for and finding the joy of life without your sweet spirit and dedication to mom.  A special thank you to the nurses, CNA's .... what love you show in your vocation to elders.  Trina, thank you for keeping mom stylish and beautiful.   Thank you Dianna Swartz and McAuliffe Family

Dear Dorothy & Staff, A little note to commend your nursing staff for their good care and attention to my mom.  She's had some difficult times in the last year and your staff has been so careful to notify me and to help with medication changes etc.  We feel very fortunate to have found St. Ann's at just the right time.  Sincerely, Nala Teachman

Dear St. Ann's Home Staff, I want to take this opportunity to express my personal appreciation for your care and all that you did to comfort and support my father during his final months with you.  I also am deeply grateful for your expressions of sympathy for me and for my family as we have mourned the death and celebrated the life of my father.  Your kindness, thoughtful gestures and prayers are deeply appreciated.  The Vigil and Funeral Mass at the Cathedral on evening and Monday morning were beautiful.  Yesterday we laid my father to rest in Kansas next to my mother, who died 25 years ago.  I am sure they will have much to catch up on!  Again thank you for your support.  Sincerely yours in Christ, Most Reverend Paul S. Coakley
